UI/action bar question...

The XI list UI is a legagy from previous turn based titles. Since a list UI does not fit non-turn based gameplay, they had to pair it with the macro system. They are inseparable and cannot stand on their own within the context of non turn based and faster paced systems.

I do hate the whole pressing 111222345...and so forth...of course this might be a losing arguement but I just wanted to restate my thoughts on the matter.

So.... you hate pressing keyboard keys ? I'd like you to expand on that because the statement makes no sence to me.

I'm perfectly comfortable with a list/menu UI and the macro system that goes along with it...for the 7yrs I played XI there seemed to be alot of other players that seemed to think it was ok...it worked.
Never said I hated pressing keyboard keys...I hate having to press them if I have a gamepad in my hand and a macro system that should alleviate any extra button presses...
look the action bar UI might be perfect for the majority of you...I get it...I understand...but for someone like me who uses a gamepad i just prefer the old system from XI...I'm not trying to convince anyone that one is better over the other...thats an opinion based arguement...I was just asking if there was anyone else who feels like I do and if there is that possibility of ever having that choice implemented in the game, if after 10yrs SE is now looking to change/adjust there UI, obviously it worked for them and every sub who is still playing up to this point...it can't be that bad.
