Alerith essentially said it's like a cookie and then said not to compare it to a cookie because he knows his analogy doesn't logically fit. A game can change based on feedback at whatever stage. A cookie does not. They both finally reach their form but a cookie doesn't take feedback into account. The games final shape is not a given. A cookie's is.
