ITT people complain about stuff they haven't even tried.
ITT people complain about stuff they haven't even tried.
We'll take it into consideration.™
Pretty much. Then they get sour when you try to tell them that. There's an alpha forum filled with people giving feedback of in game everything after having tried it - a goldmine for SE's team right now, and we've got a group here thinking they're doing something of great value.
I may have been sounding like a dick so far in this thread. Suffice it to say I'm not sugarcoating my words, but seriously... Take a hint guys. There's a massive difference in opinion once you try something versus before you try it - even if you see 4-5 videos on it and have a solid idea of how every aspect of it works.
I am ITT.
I am a person.
I am familiar with the tactile sensation of pressing keys (henceforth, "Try").
I have Tried sprinting (henceforth, "Stuff") in dozens of games.
The practical benefits of Stuff mapped to a single key are well-known in the video game trade.
Trying Stuff in FFXIV is materially different from Trying Stuff in other games where Stuff is mapped to a key, not an action bar.
Without Trying Stuff in FFXIV firsthand, I can reasonably anticipate, based on Trying Stuff in other, similar circumstances, that the experience of Trying Stuff in FFXIV will be disagreeable.
Therefore, "ITT people complain about stuff they haven't even tried" is a crock of shit and is as useless to the discussion as my post.
Now what?
I am familiar with the gustatory sensation of eating pizza (henceforth, "Try").I am ITT.

Now what?
I have tried pizza (henceforth, "Stuff") at dozens of restaurants.
The practical benefits of Stuff having crust, sauce, and cheese in spatially ascending order are well-known in the culinary trade.
Trying Chicago-style Stuff, whereby the sauce is placed atop the cheese, is materially different from Trying conventionally-constructed Stuff.
Without Trying Chicago-style Stuff firsthand, I can reasonably anticipate, based on Trying Stuff in other, similar circumstances, that the experience of Trying Chicago-style Stuff will be disagreeable.
Makes perfect sense.
