Alpha Video 5 - 3 sec GCD combat seems slow

After watching Alpha Video 5 and seeing the Dragoon battle Slugs, I noticed there was a 3 sec GDC. Combat seemed a little on the slow side. 3 sec is a long time to wait between attacks.

Using other MMOs as examples
SWTOR - 1.5 sec GCD
WOW - 1.5 sec GCD
Rift - 1 to 1.5 sec GCD

With ARR having a 3 sec GCD that is a lot of time where you are sitting there not pressing anything waiting for your GDC to come back up. Pushing a button every 3 sec seems rather slow when almost every other MMO out there has 1.5 sec or less GDC.

SE please lower the GCD on battle to make the combat faster and more enjoyable.

P.S. The guy in the video is also a clicker too, any serious guild would not allow clickers in their guild however he actually has time to hover over his next command due to long GCD.
