That being said, I don't think anyone here is saying "no no no fuck PS3 voice chat never in a million years!!" as much as we're saying "well if they never added it or added it much later, it wouldn't be the end of the world as there are enough solutions out there".
I see. I'm just trying to add some support to those who have probably never played an MMO before. I've had friends asked me if there was in-game voicechat, and told them that there most likely isn't any, you'd have to use vent. Some of them raised an eyebrow at what vent was. It's mainly due to that we've grown up on just chatting through whatever in-game voice chat was supported because it was more convenient that way.

We're probably in the minority, but just want to show that some people do look for that convenience.
