About alpha invitations....

Does anyone know if aside from an e-mail invitation, is there any other way if we have an alpha invitation for Alpha? A friend told me he changed his e-mail by september because his e-mail in mids of September (after applying to alpha). His account is inactive because he felt it wasnt worth it to pay october since every1 else was getting it free-of-charge and he didnt felt like paying at around 25 september (i think), and he now thinks his invitation could probably have been sent to the other e-mail which was deleted.
Since i dont know any about this he asked me to try and leave a post here.

- They send a message to the e-mail adress included in the application form.
- The application form is the only way to get an Alpha invite.
- The application cannot be modified after being sent.

That should summarize that the application form will be sent to his old e-mail adress.

Seriously, I'm not sure about that last one I said Zehira. I filled the application so long ago that I don't remember if they asked for another e-mail adress. Personnaly, I check both e-mails I use for that kind of purpose just in case.

there no need they always send the email to your first email list on your SE account. So even if you change it months later from applying to alpha it would still send it to your new one.

If he changed his email in his Square Enix ID and yes he would get email whether his account is inactive or not. I am still not invited tho.

Unfortunate for your friend, but the moral of the story is don't delete old email accounts, but forward instead, or use free email providers that are guaranteed to persist like Yahoo, Gmail, or Hotmail.

You can also check to see if you got in by logging into your account and viewing select services xiv

They send the email to the current active email in your SE account. If his email did not get a invite then he does not get one just better luck next time.

My suggestion would be to have him log into his SE account and look at the FFXIV "Services and Options" page. Under "Permanent Options" there is a list of what your account has access to.
