If the Blu in ARR (note: a future expansion) possessed any of the Spell potential of the flayer you fight in FFXI, it would be the Job of Most Pwn in all the realm.

But, alas, nerf and terf would be rampant, from patch to patch; and all EG battles would have alliances with at LEAST one full 8-man hit squad of Blus (damn I'd love to see that in FFXIV's gfx engine...)

really interesting about that well is way to early to say how the classes are gonna be in 2.0 maybe they change it in a way that is going to be a new way of battle and is gonna be more fun to play i know SE is not gonna make a mistake like they did in 1.0 they know they need to bring the best if they want to make ff14 in business

Sentinel is part of Gladiator/Paladin. When XIV first launched, you would gain exp for Sentinel, which gave you shield skills.
