ARR have the random side quests and leves. Just like a mmo should have. If you all got exp gaining through parties only like in FFXi, all of you would still be complaining. So what if the quests show were to go on the map. Some people are just that dumb and need hand holding. The main quest too will probably have the highlighted indication on the map as well.. so it doesn't bother me regardless.

Stop cutting this game short, because of simplicity of some areas. if 1.0 is any indication we will have our challenges. The real battle system isn't even shown. Has everyone forgot about combos and limit breaks.

Animations are, again, not even put in yet. The dash run (video#5) looks horrid, as your character doesn't even lean their upper body forward, to show an increase in movement. Hopefully dev team hasn't overlooked this while they are finishing the animations.

Its all about the challenge and the journey through an mmo. As long as the quests & Fate get harder as you scale up and the advanced battle mechanics are seen, then it will be all good.

You all need to stay focus and not whine / b#@% so much about an alpha build... sheesh
This. The one reason I have faith in the current dev team is because I've tried Ifrit Extreme.

Tried.

Even with guides and wiki's and good equipment holding my hand, Garuda and Ifrit Extreme and Nael Van Darnus were challenges. I can't wait to see what 2.0 has in store for endgame parties.
