not really sure how quests are set up in game.
although it looks good on video, it gives me this wow's quests feeling.
I read a gw2 designer's interview somewhere before. It was about how gw2 designers want the quests or out door event (something like FATE that yoshida-P showed on video) to be like.
something I really like in the interview is that they tried to make players feel that they are part of the event.
For example, if npc asks players to clear mobs around the town, and no one did it. eventually mobs will wipe out the town/base/npc. tons of mobs spawn at that area and start killing players. something like that.
I am not saying the way to do quests in video is bad. After all, I played like 6 years of wow, so what shows on video is fine to me. However, I just don't think a quest should be there forever and nothing change.
if 2 years later, that npc still has problem to handle those boar, and players still only need to kill 4 boars for the quest, don't you guys think it's kinda weird ? I think it doesn't hurt to use gw2 idea on FFXIV.
