I'm definitely liking the new spell animation, and the nice big targeting rings so you can definitely tell what you have targetted. I kept wanting to grab my controller and see what the tool tips said for the abilities
As far as quests, you can only do so much that is different. If you can quest or camp to xp, it's just good to have choices! I can't wait to play!

Less Reality makes for better Fantasy!
Support adding "6 Fulms Under" to gpose!

YEEEEEESSS!
I like how the quest's are just right there on your screen and easy to access. In 1.0 in order to find out where you had to go it felt like you had to be constantly opening and closing 4 window tabs. Menu -> journal -> "the quest" -> map..... yeah i hated that every single time. now its just right there and looks so much more strait forward with out huge long paragraphs explaining each quest.

Seeing the new low level items gives the impression that there will some totally reworked items (low level variant of the armbands)
PLEASE
give me R50 espadrilles ;CCCCCCc
Edit: The potion being a possible quest reward was nice too.
Hopefully they do play a larger roll.

i think the markers and indicators should have a "toggle on/off" switch so that players can have a choice of how they want to do the quests (figure it out themselves without the markers and indicators or have the quests guide them step by step with markers and indicators).
this is to add to Talshara_Blade's comment, which I don't think will be difficult to implement..
Im sorry NO! Some one already posted about hints and thats fine. What they could do is actually give a general direction and or area as a hint and the rest would be up to the player. There is no reason what-so-ever for a quest to tell you exactly where to go. If with a general hint a player cant figure it out than there is a problem.i think the markers and indicators should have a "toggle on/off" switch so that players can have a choice of how they want to do the quests (figure it out themselves without the markers and indicators or have the quests guide them step by step with markers and indicators).

I agree completely. The only thing worse than Cookie Cutter Quests is a Quest Tracker that points you straight to the Objective. It's one thing to point out an NPC in a Town. It is a whole other atrocity to point to the exact location of the mysterious monster that has been plaguing the forest or the secret hideout of the wandering Hermit. This kind of over simplification makes the game pointless.Im sorry NO! Some one already posted about hints and thats fine. A lot of this crap is truly embarrassing to read:

I especially like the parts where they ignore when people ask to be given examples of MMOs that do not follow the "grind" formula. Even Guild Wars 2 has a grind. It just doesn't feel like it because you're always in different areas and it's free-flowing. You're still killing x amount of enemies and getting x amount of items.
These folks make it seem this is FAR FAR FAR FAR more grindy and repetitive than 1.0's system.
>Guildleves
>Enemy Grind
>Spiritbinding Party
>Repeatable quests
This sort of thing has never happened before in an MMO ever! WHAT AN OUTRAGE!
Grow up. If you're going to support your negativity with nothing more than pipe dreams and basically saying the same "this is too much like other MMOs" chorus without giving a single example of an MMO it SHOULD be like (but then again, you'd be playing that MMO instead of being here, so lolol)... then kindly just quit playing MMOs entirely. Clearly this kind of game is not for you.

Why change the claim system? The one introduced in 1.19 on 1.0 seemed well enough to keep around.
