Agreed. We may see this sort of thing much later. I think the biggest problem for PoL is the time it takes to login. Otherwise I like it.

Yeah it was just a slow innefficent program (laggy/bad button placements and order to get in).. BUT otherwise I thought it was a great idea.

When they are developing the smart phone app maybe they will make a little app / addon to the launcher.. (I think an in game steam like interface could be cool (may slow peoples games down)) but I really liked the part where I didnt have to log all the way in to interact with the game world.

Addings some AH (MW) features, chatting, mail, news in game, news/RSS feed to dev and forums..

I don't know about you but here in Australia POL was nothing but an annoying account management system with an incredible talent for implementing management structures into their customer service that guaranteed you no resolutions, no solutions and a fabulous international charge on your telephone bill because their bullshit chat support was far from chatty and even further from supportive.

I actually kinda like the idea. Although I initially hated POL, I found it very useful after I got a chance to maneuver around in it. I also agree with Shinalia, and I think her ideas would be really awesome. It's kinda something you'd think SE would/could be focusing on....What a better way for a company like SE to make it so you can buy/play most if not all of their published titles??

Thing is, as great of an idea as it is....It would require quite a bit of resources and not only that, it would be a MAJOR change for SE in the way that they do business and idk if a company like SE would do or partake in any thing of that scale...Especially after the disaster that was FFXIV 1.0 happened to them, that they are still trying to fix. Considering this, I don't think that POL will ever have anything to do with any modern game going forward.
