    I agree. Simple sounds of acknowledgement, agreement, thanks and question are all thats needed from NPCs.

    Which is why I don't support fully voiced NPCs in XIV. I could even do without voices for the CS. It's a huge added cost for what amounts to fluff.

    SWTOR had quality VA, but to some extent it was just too much and I found myself skipping past all the CS just to get on with the quest. It was a wasted expence.

    GW2 has terrible VA. Much of the NPC dialouge isn't skippable (like in dungeons), it brings the overal quality down.

    So I hope SE doesn't feel like they need VA to compete. If they feel compelled to have it, I hope its only for the main story, and is well done. But I fear for future content updates.
