    Disciple v. Discipline?

I couldn't find any previous threads about this, and it's always bothered me a little, as minor a thing it may be...

I was under the impression from all the information released by SE on the web and in dev posts (including recent ones regarding ARR) etc. that the name for crafting/gathering/fighting is "Disciple of X", as in a devout follower of that line of work. Yet in game (at least in v1.0) the line that tells you what classes can equip gear will read "Discipline of X" if it is broadly applicable to a whole category of professions (ex. the Paragon's Crown or Coliseum gear, but it by no means specific to these two, it's a quite universal property on lots of items).

Either one makes perfect sense on its own, what's bothersome is that it's not consistent. Anyone else noticed this? Or maybe I'm the only one that cares?

What did you say? I read it twice and still couldn't grasp what you were trying to put across.

Just that in the game (the help-text for equipment) it says "Discipline" while everywhere else it says "Disciple". Extremely close in spelling and meaning, but still two distinct words.

A disciple is you. You practice a discipline.

So it somes to the context, I guess.
