When does the Alpha Test end?

I've been looking over a few pages of forum threads and I haven't seen anyone talking about the end of the Alpha test. I know the Beta test won't start until the end of january (seen this in an article or a thread) but I doubt that the Alpha will end when the Beta starts.

Question is simple: When will the Alpha test end?

Yes, alpha does end when beta starts ... That's all I know....

I think it's near the end of December. Not sure of the exact date though.

As far as i know, no date has been given for the end of one, and beginning of the other. I would give a week's buffer before and after Christmas as a no man's zone, but really your guess is as good as mine.

A world merge test is scheduled for the soon-to-commence Phase 4, after which the Alpha Test will come to a close around mid-December. But if the demand is there, we’ll consider leaving the alpha worlds online until the end of the year. (Though we can’t really call it an alpha test anymore.)

This week is supposively the fourth and final week of the Alpha test. Yoshi-P said they're considering keeping the Alpha servers open thru the end of December so he can get more of us on there...Saying, "We can't really call it an Alpha test at that point..." (Probably because, like I said, this is supposed to be the final week of the testing.)

Alpha has already ended. They Added an Extra Phase to satiate the whiners.
