The problem it works so horribly on the PC, is in fact because it will run so well on the PS3, FFXIV was actually developed in Crystal Tools, an SDK developed primarily for PS3 and 360, (the first game to be made in it was FFXIII, later XIV, and in the future XIII Vs) what we're playing is essentially a port of the console version, it will be fine on the PS3, the problem is is that it isn't fine on the PC, concentrate on that, the Console version will be fine.

Except for the fact they stopped console updates because it does not run on the ps3 otherwise they would have released it ages ago.
