[DEV question] Why cant we change Alpha application answers?

In short, your PC specifications likely had basically no effect on your chances to get in to the alpha.

The only reason to want to change your application is because you want to try to increase your chances, but the thing that the person wanted to do is somthing that probably wouldn't have impacted their chances.

o.O didn't you read what I said? "I should update my app so my invite can go to another person who is better suit for alpha." Because I don't have time for it anymore why should I be a placeholder.

Allow people to update the information only benefit SE on the alpha testing as whole.
