Because people are liars.
Because people are liars.
I really dont think that matters. Seriously who stops people from lying the first time?
I agree you should be able to change your app. and add more information to it honestly. Their computer stat checker should run on multiple computers XD - I've got 4.
Which is why serious testing applications require you to submit your dxdiag file, or even have an app that detects your hardware independently.
Also, if someone can lie now, he could lie about his hardware even when he submitted his application the first time.
Someone needs to learn to read.
My reading comprehension is more than adequate.
If the author of this post was really concerned about SE having their correct computer information they would have asked to update it when they originally upgraded their machine. However, the first invites of the last alpha testing stage have been sent, they did not get one, and NOW they want to update it.
That tells me that they don't care about SE having the correct information, they really care about getting an invite.
Tell me how the hell will they know when i update my computer specs unless i tell them so?My reading comprehension is more than adequate.

So they cant ask me for something they dont know....
What it tells you is irrelevant. If the author of this post was really concerned about SE having their correct computer information they would have asked to update it when they originally upgraded their machine. You're second guessing the motives of someone you don't know, which you're not in any position to do.
Regardless of his motives, though, it's useful for Square Enix to know exactly what specs the game will be tested on, so it makes a lot of sense for people to be able to update their specs if they update their PC.
It's that simple.
