I have to thank Square-Enix for the amazing job they have done recreating Final Fantasy XIV from Scratch. Especially the inclusion of Missing Genders which we petitioned for in good faith. This was proof to us players that the Developers are truly Sympathetic to our requests and that being honest and vocal can pay off with the amazing characters we have who are Female Roegadyn, Male Miqote, and Female Highlanders. Thank You SE, Thank You Community Team, Thank You Yoshi-P.

I'd have to log in and test it but I'm pretty sure thats how it works. I'm just not able too right now. Work and such.

Unless they start adding Rare/Ex drops, a manual rolling system is unnecessary and redundant.

While i agree that the auto distro is passable for the current content in game. I would like to see extra options for managing who gets what eventually. Preferably coinciding with the introduction of the equivalent of Exclusive gear if they ever do that.

I'm curious... what other systems would you like to see?
I ask because the game already has a Master Loot and Round Robin system, in addition to the current one.
Though I can see the argument for something different in the case of Rare/Ex-like items. Though I look at it this way: If you're with your LS... nobody is going to screw over their LS mate by not giving them the item. And if you're with a Pug, technically they have just as much right to the items as anyone else. But I wouldn't object to having a "Roll/Pass" system for BoP items. Just know that douche-bags are going to roll on everything anyway.

wait your telling me there is already a functional quartermaster system or are you talking about passing things around via loot pools once a item has "dropped" to a player?

Yeah, there's a Master loot system. All items go into the Party leader's loot box and he can choose the "Give" option to give them to who he wants. Alternatively, you can use Round Robin.

how do you go about activating it then? cant believe i have missed this. then again i didn't find out about shift+number for stacking into a br till last week. lol

If you are the leader of the party, it's in the "party details" menu I believe. I didn't notice it for a long time either... it's not exactly obvious. I'm at work atm, but when I get home I'll double check where it is.
