Warning of Square Enix Payment Options

I too kept getting the credit card errors, even though my card works perfectly fine on every other website I've ever purchased from. It wouldn't even let me buy Crysta. Fortunately I was able to use my fiance's card, which worked fine, but not everyone has access to another card. Please SE, it's 2012, there's no reason for anyone to have so much trouble when buying online.

Edit: I should mention that said credit card worked for XI.
