Warning of Square Enix Payment Options

I havent had payment troubles before but can we also say what the hell were they thinking when you have to set up your account the first time. I think I went through 20 tabs and clicks and windows and similar looking buttons and filled the information in three times and then I finally had an SE account so I could make a FFXIV account and then link them somehow with my payment plan..

Yes the payment options right now are effing stupid, even paypal randomly fails.

I tried my 3 visa cards, they worked one time (despite them always being the same ones I used and still use every now and then on FF11) and then they stop working telling me the CC is no good (the fuck?) then I go and use paypal...I randomly get a paypal error that still has no answer and makes no sense since I use paypal for EVERYTHING online so its not paypals fault...

I tried adding my mother's CC to automatic monthly pay...but it was too late since I only did it for the last month that the game was up for paying and have no idea if it will work...

For all the crap people gave to FFXI playonline system it worked a thousand times better than this backwards system.

While FFXI and FFXIV once had terrible terrible payment methods, you can't be completely ignorant to the changes they've made. Since earlier this year, Square-Enix directly accepts credit card numbers without needing to go through a third-party company.

Yes a lot of words, so sorry! I just wanted to make sure I felt I made my point however with your comment about the change in payment options this year I had mentioned above that every time I try to use it (and multiple others) while it goes smoothly for some every cc I have tried pulls up a error code at the end of the transaction that the se staff tells us you have to wait 24 hrs to try again the acc is locked. in 24 hrs you get the sammmeeee error code allover. Though many of you might think this is the 99c charge to see if the cc is legit every cc and gift cc I call says there was absolutely no attempt blocked or not blocked by SE.

Might be that your CC isn't "secured". Some cards are recognized to have a secured option on it and it says so on the card. I know that some providers do not accept cards that are not secured.

Yeah, seriously, don't touch Click&Die with a kilometer-long pole, especially if you don't live in the EU.

Ok, as for CC problems you might be having, a thought comes to mind about what you might be experiencing:
What country is your SE account listed to?

If it is not the same country as the country of issue for your credit card (which can be easily identified within the first four digits) then it might be throwing up a red flag at SE's end.

Just an idea.

Hmmmm FFXIV doesn't have Paypal right? :< sad panda... . The only Online payment gateway that except my *DEBIT CARD* and is not available for FFXIV..

yesh i have CC but i hate using CC.
