    Questions for Devs, are 1.0 unregister key codes good for ARR?

    The question have appear in different forums and there have not been a confirm answer from SE.

    If I have a copy of Final Fantasy XIV 1.0, but did not register the Key because of the bad review and beta; will that Key still be good for ARR.

    I know the Devs have confirm from Yoshi-P about the buddypass. I would think that if the buddypass is allow, the box Key would be allow. But you know people, if we don't have a confirmation by the Devs then it is not true.

    So can a Devs give us a official confirmation. Will the Final Fantasy XIV 1.0 copies that are still out there in the world that were not use still good for ARR or people that did not register their copy have to buy a new copy for ARR?

    They'll work. Someone on MMO Champion opened a ticket and asked. Their response said it's fine, just no registration is allowed until re-launch. The guy included a screenshot of their response.
