Possibly though the empire has a lot of magitek to begin with since they use it to make up for having a weak magical background... as I believe it was said before most citizens of the empire can't really use magic. I just want to see if the VIth Legatus pulls off an awesome Kefka move :P since Kefka is my fav bad guy...

I think Megaflare wiped out both our allied troops and the VIIth legion. Seeing how they were acting on their own accord, I can imagine that even if someone survived, they will probably be demoted and assigned to another legion.

XIVth Legion was not there... on Gaius van Baelsar was there with a small contingent on an airship... The troops on the ground are of the VIIth legion...
