    FIRST

Just wanted to be the first to post a thread somewheres even though this doesn't have much significance.

ON another note, can they please change lower ranked synthesis to not use SUPER high ranked materials? Just makes grinding that much harder

    2nd~ =P

I agree, I'm having hard time to make canvas doublet not because my rank is low, No. It's because it's need 1 material only tanner rank 40+ can make it -.- boar leather strap! Why body rank 26 need mats comes only from recipe rank 40+ >.>

I hope they are going to fix it soon or at least after they fix the battle system.

I like it. It provides some sort of challenge to crafting whether it be finding those high level materials or getting training books to make those difficult recipes a little bit easier. Not to mention it gives the item some sort of value in a game that almost feels plagued with crafters and their wares.

If everything were easy to make, it wouldn't be worth enough money for you to buy crystals and materials to keep grinding your craft.

I agree with you Edyn, A lot of people race to the top with one class. This provides an added bonus to those who take their time with more than one class. If you want to make all around defensive gear and be a leatherworker, weaver, and armorer then there are a lot of recipes that make you richer than those who just focused on one of those.

There's a difference between that though. Some synths require r30+ materials and some sell them for too high a price since all the lower stuff you make don't sell whatsoever since you get from r1-20 in DoW or DoM in 3 hours. The 'value' you are talking about is not existent unless you're talking about the value it means to you. Like I just said, there is no value since it doesn't sell.

What gets me is that the cloth is often a higher rank synth than the items that require the cloth (for instance, linen cloth is a r49 synth, but a linen coatee is a r45 synth.) I love weaver, but that doesn't make any sense to me. It's not encouraging multi classing, or increasing the worth of the cloth on it's own, it's just annoying.

I'd love to see cloth recipes returned to their original state (3-5 yarn makes 1 cloth). 3 cloth per synthesis is too much. Since all weavers will grind on cloth recipes, there's a crazy abundance of cloth which in turn makes a crazy abundance of cloth armours and seriously devalues them. Of course, desynthesising would also be a great way to balance this.
