Legacy = Tester?

I may be wrong, but I swear I read that anyone Legacy member would take priority on invites for alpha and beta test.. I'm not going to disclose if i got a invite or not but I would like to know what percentage of people who got invites for alpha were in fact Legacy members.. but from what I'm hearing a lot of people saying the opposite.

i dont think it was about legacy but more about "current" players.
Wanted to give my 2 cents anyways so might as well do it here, ppl seem to think just be cause Yoshi said "priority"
we will come first. Priority means alot of us will/are getting into alpha, but it would be stupid to invite only players that sticked to the game. We are to hard boiled, yoshi needs someone who does not know 1.0 that good to be able to better judge 2.0.

In the end its pointless to make a fuss over alpha, its just 3 more weeks anyways and they are gonna stop till beta in Jan/Feb. At least i am confident all of us will get into Beta as yoshi wants to make that happen.

i think the priority this time around was players who quit ffxiv when it came out there a lot of people who got invite. We not entitled to Alpha/BETA we get in when we get in we not the center of the world. Not to be ass or anything i myself did not get in and i'm sad but the fact is it's just alpha we get to play beta soon enough where the point is to get all current players to play it.
