Getting in closed beta is pretty much a crap shoot to get in just as much as alpha is. But at this point they usually give keys to websites to give away but often those keys are gated behind having some kind of preimum sub on the site, but some sties gave them away free if I remember correctly.

It won't be until open beta where anyone who wants to get in can. Open beta won't be until like a couple weeks before the game is ready to launch.
