I think they should invite those that left, seems to me they will be more critical and give better pointers than those that stuck around. Especially if they want to get those people back.

I agree. Instead of all the white knights, they need constructive input so they know if what they have built will be received well.



Because those that didn't have the patience to stick with the game will have the patience to test the new one properly instead of just rushing through what content there is and then quitting again, right?

lol - So far I've only seen those who are new to the forums or those friends of those old to the forums post that they got in lol.. Funniest RNG roll ever or SE being weird - AKA SE being SE.



Thats always a risk a company takes with outsourced testing like this. The best they can hope for is for those people to speak there minds before they set the bar doors swinging on there exit.

Which is why you normally try your best to invite those that have enough patience and time to test properly. Mind you, as the seething negativity on this forum demonstrates, it's rather obvious that the current community of active accounts isn't exactly prone to be overly forgiving of mistakes.
In any case, once they stated that only active accounts were eligible, they should have stuck by that rule. That, of course, assuming but not conceding that the allegations about it are true, of which I have yet to see any conclusive evidence (while the deletion of the related thread kind of looks rather bad).
