Didn't get an Alpha Invite? Cheer up!

Without ousting yourself (keep it secret, keep it safe) is there any confirmation that the invites were sent out? (Besides a rep saying it would happen today?)

It was made by Level 5, the same people who produced Dragon Quest VIII! It's awesome!

Hehe, I can "proudly" say I was not invited for the Alpha! ;P

But I'm fairly FAIRLY certain that at least some of the invites have been sent out.

EDIT: Hah! I'm currently doing a perfect clear of FF8 myself xD God damn Triple Triad card rules.

I'm currently trying to finally finish Rogue Galaxy, a perfect 100% run. This game has so much to do in it, I doubt I'd make it if I was invited into Alpha. lol The main quest is long enough, but the sidequests and other activities will keep you busy for MONTHS. I hope I'm done before ARR starts. >.<

1. Invites went out, a couple friends (who were active players up to the end btw) posted on Guildworks that they got their emails today.

2. When is the best time to apply for beta? I didn't mind sitting out on the Alpha...esp since so many folks wanted in, but I wouldn't mind being a part of the Beta.

I don't think you can apply for beta yet. I'm sure they will release a notice with a link to the signup when alpha testing is finished, but until then you just have to wait.

Yes, I know this, but it also says on the Alpha Application that those who apply for the Alpha testing do not need to re-submit an application to be considered for the PC Beta Test. (PS3 Beta Testing requires sending in another application). Which is why I was asking when people thought it might be good to apply...like maybe they'd let people who missed out on Alpha testing have a greater chance of getting in the Beta etc. Only reason I asked. Currently, I've just been waiting to see a 'Application for Beta Testing'.

I don't feel entitled. No one should. I share the rage when I hear of 1 monthersgetting invites though. This is ridiculous.

Its only a test. not sure why people are so disappointed they couldn't be part of the stress tests....It's not like you're going to be playing, or that even 80% of the game will even be available to your with the alpha client.
