Seriously though chill the hell out everybody. Do you realize how silly you guys look when you say things like "I've been here supporting SE since the very start and people who haven't been playing as long as I have got invited to alpha!"

If you actually supported SE you probably wouldn't be selfishly whining about the decision they made just because you didn't get "early play time" on a game that is currently meant solely for test purposes, which you DO NOT NEED TO BE A VETERAN PLAYER TO DO.

This isn't even the last of the invites, more will be sent out soon enough. Besides, you're not banned from playing the final game. Be excited that you're probably not gonna have it spoiled for you.

As one last reminder, it is against the NDA to either A) Announce that you have been invited or B) Announce that you have not been invited, so to post either or is blatantly disrespecting Square Enix and again, not showing much support to them.

Also spare me the posts of "I didn't get in so I'm not subjected to the NDA hmph!" - Good sign of why you shouldn't have been invited in the first place. You did not read the NDA. You are subjected to the NDA even if you are not in alpha.
What most people is arguing is that we want to help the game better and give as much feedback as possible, and we will bother doing so. A player that quit in the free month of 1.0 when it was released won't probably bother so much and, as the alpha is a technical test, they will probably not be impressed with the game in it's current state, and won't take their time to write about why in the alpha forums.
