And you didnt simply state.. you told me I made no sense. Awkward really, since my post was saying SE should make sense as there is no sense available.

And yes railing against isnt going to do much - they can only handle so many. I'm not suggesting SE open the flood gates to their server so it can crash, I was just suggesting easy ways they could have calmed more of the crowd.

It seems to me that even if SE were to spell out how they picked people that it wouldn't stop people from then ranting about the specifics. They might complain that SE should be testing older computers instead of Win 8 powerhouses because those computers are less likely to have trouble. Or flip it and say that they should not focus on anything XP or older because the company who made them no longer supports them. I could go on and on with examples off the top of my head that people could gripe about when what they really would be complaining about is nothing more than this: "they didn't pick me" <insert frownie face>

But forget all that because the bottom line is SE shouldn't have to calm the masses. People should be big enough to act like adults on their own.

Yeah its possible SE could try to wipe everyone's nose for them and they would still be pissed XD. Working with the people can both be infuriating and very pleasing.

Wish SE let me put in all my computers though lol I've got a powerhouse a medium spec and a laptop.. I gots your hardware just let me in XD lol

Random wish aside if with small work comes a greater calm then it is worth it. But I guess we could argue that the crowd is insatiable or not.

Sounds like Yoshi had to step in and calm down a lot of people throwing a temper tantrum, like an adult having to step in and soothe the hurt feelings of a room full of crying toddlers. lol I guess it's good business practice to wipe the tears of some of the most butthurt of consumers, but it's sad it has to come to that.

Pretty much :P. But writing a small letter really isn't that costly so I think overall its time well spent.
