It probably is actually willy nilly lolWhen was it that we decided how SE should choose it's Alpha members? I don't believe we'd be dumb enough to think they're picking people all willy nilly, who's selection would end up being detrimental to them. But I do believe we may just be selfish enough to care more about what benefits us over them, all while claiming the people who were selected are inferior to us, based solely on that fact that they aren't us.
Unless they invited a very small number of people you can probably thank the RNG gods.
if i offend anyone i apologize..it erk me when the word worthless came up.

Act in such a way that you treat humanity, whether in your own person or in the person of another, always at the same time as an end and never simply as a means
Allesasi I would delete that post if I were you.
We could always ask whoopeeragon, for a good laugh.Oh and about showing my friends, i mean they come over and see me playing, as the NDA says... "As stated in the “FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn Tester Agreement,” testers are prohibited from publicizing any proprietary information related to the Alpha Test on external sites. In the event that we confirm that infringement has occurred, your rights to be a tester will be revoked and your FINAL FANTASY XIV account will be suspended. ". I wont be posting stuff in any website so it isnt against it. Also i'm sure that some of the ppl that entered the Alpha have parents/brothers/sisters/friends living with them, which at some point will see them playing. For example, i play on a big screen on my room... will i have to lock my door and close the windows, check if there is any camera around in my room turned on, kill anyone that see's the game, etc?
Wow this sure turned into a big hate fest on each other perhaps most should just drop the topic we are all very anxous to either test the game or get back to playing hell i sure do. i want to test the game not only to help it along but to see whats up but the sooner the better and another fact is the issue of loyalty to be honest it seems long time players loosing to 1 time players is for an alpha test is kinda a kick in the nutts but its SE they do what they want to what they see is best for their game that they are making for us to play![]()
And now for a slight variation on my posting of Kittens in today's alpha FUUU related topics.
A KITTEN, with A BIRD!

Make it happen.
This guy..
Care to show me where this 'backpedal' is? You know since that actually isn't protected by any NDA and all.. Yeah, thought not..
If they can say that the alpha is better than GW2, then that would be saying something, and would tear other MMOs a new butthole.This...
People who had 0 interest in ARR or worse, who say that it will fail anyway, GW2 is better, blaa blaa blaa etc,
got the invitation. Me and others, that have already experience not.
And let's not forget that the requirements for apply where clear: You must have an active FFXIV account etc.
You can really expect anything from SE.. bah.
I think he/she is OK. They just said they got an invitation, but didn't mention whether or not they accepted it and/or are testing Alpha. I haven't seen anywhere saying that you can't say you got an invitation to Alpha. Nix found in the NDA where it says you can't disclose that you are a tester, should you in fact decide to accept the invitation (which then takes you over to the tester forums and to agree to the NDA).
