Your comment on dropping balls for SE selecting an arbitrary amount of people that you do not know except they are not you. Therefore, they are not dedicated enough or something.

The selection process is not part of the NDA. There are other reasons they won't disclose it. Community problems, persuing those that were selected, demanding the point of the questions in their application. ..
What are you even looking for in this thread? They wont disclose how they selected the testers. Asking who are the testing would be just as pointless and a real violation of the NDA.
What is the point of this discussion?

They changed their own rules for selection. They decided to go for something other than what was laid out in the rules and even though they can do whatever the hell they want with their test, this leaves much to be desired about them. You would expect a bit of congruity and consistency here.
