Surprisingly there weren't as much butthurt as there is in the NA/EU community, there was a lot of people that posted the typical ascii art and the new 'you ban!' you see on 2ch, but the amount of level-headed people far outweighed it.

Really? This much emotion? I seem to remember more emotion about 'grass' and 'ruining immersion'. Today seems more like a typical response from people who had no idea of what SE's selection priorities would be. I don't get how they though, of all the groups, are confused about it... they have to see that SE caters to them first and formost (which is understandable of course). And have they seen the stuff people will get emotional about here? Lol. This is still just small potatoes. I don't even think I heard anyone mention /ragequit.. /rage mayhaps, but it is Monday afterall..

I'm not whining because i didn't receive the alpha invitation, but a lot of my friend that have quit the game AFTER THE FIRST MONTH FROM THE RELEASE GOT IT! And me (and others of course) supporting the game and paying for the crappy 1.0, didn't receive it.

Only who had an active FFXIV account was supposed to get the invitation right?

I totally agree with you on that man. I know couple guys who barely loged in 1-3 times a mounth and got an invite today...ppl who struggled since CE edition pre-release and all the time till the servers went down, dont deserve a shit...

Why would you play a game you don't enjoy? You don't deserve more for putting up with stuff nobody forced you to go through with, in the first place. Get off your high horse.

You are totally right, it's random! That RNG thing pissses me off most, b/c after trying for 2 years every day I couldnt still get lvl1 Onion Doublet! lol Just because of that dumb RNG thing. Everyone I know got it on 2nd or 3rd try...but I got right to be pissed off on RNG thingy after that you know?

LOL! I don't know what makes you think it's random... but it seems pretty obvious that it wasn't.

Heck, SE could have made it alot easier by saying that it'll be based on RNG, but they knew it would be too obvious after the invites went out that it wasn't a 'random' thing. I have not heard of a single Legacy player getting an invite, and if ther are some, I'm assuming it's based on working the past Alpha for the 1.0 client. I've been doing mah research, this wasn't random!! Although yes, some people should prolly calm it down abit.
