    Ecosystem Areas

As we have seen in ARR, areas are much more alive and realistics, full of animations just a real ecosystem of flora and fauna.
The only thing missing to make it more real is seeing monsters fighting each other, it was the case in FFXII and FFXIII where you could find fights between monsters.

This is only a visual aspect and should not necessarily affect the gameplay, for example: the monsters could fight each other, damaging them self or not, and when you have to fight them engagements with both is mandatory.
Or another example: the monster can first help to defeat his opponent and then fight you, possibilities are limitless, and could involve beastman's tribes fighting each other ect.. but this is not the focus.
I don’t know if this would heavily affect the servers and slow down their performance, however, this is just an idea.
    Comment please! : D

This might not be what you had in mind but they could probbably do something like this with the FATE system. Something like this for example, A Behemoth and a Buffalo are fiighting in the shroud causing the native monsters to flee from the disturbance right into a gridanian village, your objective; Mop up the fleeing monsters before they can get to the village and end the conflict.

No, this isn't what i'm thinking of, because this could be valid also for small size monsters.
With this "trick" the ambience could be more real.
This mustn't be a quest but only a visual effect.
    See this video at 5:53.

Love how that pic you posted is of the best CP grinding spot in all FF13 (untill you can successfully down the Ochu quickly)

As for the actual topic. It sounds interesting, but I'd rather if when you get close (assuming both mobs are natrually agressive to the player) both mobs attack the player and make it a 3 way brawl.
