Oh I know they are capable of adding in a feature like this, and I urge them to.

I never said it wouldn't be fun or a neat feature to have in FFXIV. All I am saying is that tower defense games by themselves are more in-depth and balanced than one in an MMORPG could be. Then again, we will never know unless they actually add it in, so I would love this feature to be added in.

True true. I'll probably try out whatever it ends up being, but I know i'll enjoy it if they manage to encompass the strategy and teamwork of these type of game if it turns out to be styled after tower defense.

Whatever it is, I just get really really bored with them. I just don't get the drive to continue past the first few levels of any given one. Guess I just get bored with em.

I like these ideas, but if they implemented them I'd want them to do it right. These sound like they would take a lot of time to really get it at a good level so it'd probably have to wait until an expansion or something.

But I remember when Assassin's Creed added in a tower defense feature in Revelations.

And everyone hated it.

I mean...it was Assassin's Creed. Everyone wants to just assassinate.

Yea if they put something like this at best be on the back burner for later expansions or something.

I just bought Dungeon Defenders, I guess that's sorta a way they could do it.
