Possible idea for future new Race...?

I think adding another race isn't a bad thing. I would actually like it. My only concern is that i might like it so much but not want to change my character at that point.

I'd like to see something like Mi'qote but Reptilian.

EX:
Lizard tail, little reptilian horns on the head, some scales on the skin, reptilian eyes, claws and teeth... So that it can conserve a sort of humanity. (Even if they said the opposite, so non more human-like race )

Would love to see a vivi race - though I fear it may step on lala toes.


While I think the Viera race could be fun sexier mithra I think there is better potential and variation working with another race at the moment (we have so much sexy we need weird and perhaps monstrous first (not that the Gria fit that very well)).

Viera and Miqote are a little too similar compared to other possible new races, imo.

All though I would like to see Viera; just not before some of the other possible choices.

I honestly don't know how they could implement a new race in an expansion. This game isn't like WoW where people roll new characters all the time, most people stick with the same one throughout, and I doubt too many people would be willing to start all over just to play as a new race when they implement one. They really have to give a one-time option to change races for people who buy the expansion, that's the only thing I can think of.

I hope that when you buy an expansion that comes with a race you get a 1 time option to change your characters race. You may only use the race change to change to a race that was introduced in the expansion.

Otherwise later added races might become rare on the fact that no one wants to restart all the work.

I would absolutely love a reptilian-like race added! And it doesn't necessarily have to be Bangaa (I honestly have not played FF XII yet, but I plan to down the road), although I've seen people post pics of them and they do look pretty cool!









I would prefer something along the lines of an Argonian (The Elder Scrolls series), since I'm an enormous fan of anything bird, dinosaur or reptilian-related in games! Not 100% copy-pasted exactly like them, but somewhere along those lines I think would work very, very well with a distinct Final Fantasy touch added to them!



It would be like someone else had suggested a few comments back: like a miqo'te sort of build but reptilian, with possible horns or feathers here and there to choose from, and a lizard-like tail.

That would be absolutely delightful as an addition sometime down the road!

Viera would be nice to for people that want them, since they are pretty attractive looking.
