Maximum number of people per zone and events.

I was wondering, if they have events which require people to go to one place to participate, and it would cause extreme lag, would it be (theoretically) possible for them to move the zone to a larger server for the duration of the event?
Ex: Having christmas event which causes everyone to be in Ul'Dah, so in a patch that implements the event, while its on downtime, would it be possible to move all of Ul'Dah on a bigger server that can handle more people? That way they can have a small number of powerful servers that do not need to work all the time, but are only used for events?

No specific big server for events that will put us all in one zone . but as Yoshi-P said on the 3rd Live letter their server structure built from the ground up they have made it so they can monitor activity of each zone and if they see one area needs more power due to congestion they can move resources on the fly to supply that one event
