After having played XIV since July 2011, and had a blast playing the game ever since while seeing all the efforts put in to improving the game from the ground up. I felt I had to try find a way to show my appreciation and respect for Yoshida and his team.

And when I saw the amazing End of an era trailer, I found elements I had to use and get an artist to draw me a picture, featuring elements from the trailer as well as ingame.

The pose of the Louisoix's statue is from when he summons those massive white spikes when he tries to reseal Bahamut.

Altera's pray is ofc from the emote ingame ofc

The close up of Altera praying is the one where Y'sthola prays in the trailer.

Statue is positioned in Apkallus Falls, where Louisoix stood and sending us to defeat Ifrit, Moogle and Garuda.

Altera is a proud Twin Adder hence her choice of clothing for the picture

I really cant thank you enough Yoshida and all whos worked tirelessly on A Realm Reborn, and hope you like my small token of gratitude.

If any CMs could let me know if there is an email I can send the full resolution picture to, and Yoshida receives it. I would be overjoyed

This is fine work Altera. Isn't it amazing what 1.0 brought us in just a short couple years? What happened during that time that would bring tears and awe at the close, endless posts still on the forums and such fine inspirational works such as Altera brings us?

We were all touched as if having just finished an epic novel or from watching an emotional motion picture.

It really is amazing and I'm glad I share it with all you talented and wonderful people.

I have played alot of MMOs, but never have I seen any communities as friendly and nice as the ones in XIV. Sure we have our sour eggs, but at least those are a big minority

I am so glad to spend my time with the ones I have met ingame, and on forums as well

I have been so excited to getting this done and to show I really appreciate Yoshida's efforts. I havent felt this giddy and happy over a videogame in a looong time now. It's fun to re-live those kid in a candystore, on Xmas emotions over a game even at age 32. XDDD
