PS3 beta test.

Something I noticed on the alpha test signup page under the beta test section that everyone seems to have over looked, and people are speculating well off the time stated.

"The PlayStation 3 Beta Test will start in conjunction with the PC Beta Test"

So that means PC beta = PS3 beta as well, which according to what Yoshida said will be Jan/Feb.

Hmmm, on another thread "Translations (JP to English)" Soukyuu translate an interview and it says: "PS3 Beta after PC Beta enters phase 3" and we don't really know when it start the phase 3, phase 1 will be on Jan or Feb.

Maybe SE changed something.

I plan on testing on my PS3, however little upset over having to pay for Playstation Plus just to join a beta :P Thank you Sony! :P

Ah well, I should be used to making sacrifices for this game by now lol

Oh I have it and it's applied to my account, and while that will get me into PC beta, I'd still like to do the PS3 beta.
But it's not SE's fault that Sony requires Playstation Plus for players to do Beta, timed trials- and discounts on certain games. Whatev?!

Holy god is Playstation Plus amazing.

I've dropped like, 100 dollars over the course of two years for PS+ and I have more games downloaded (for 'free') than I've ever owned in my life. Also, themes, avatars, ridiculousness. At least try out the short term subscription.. I think it's 3 months for a little less than what FFXIV would have cost.

I agree I have had it for 2 weeks now Crysis 2 Resi evil 5 and theres still more I want.

You don't need need PS+ to join a beta, only if the beta is made available on PS+ only. We do not know how the ARR PS3 beta will be released. Considering they said the FF XIII codes are still valid I don't think it will be exclusive to PS+.
