You'll get no argument from me there. I'm just saying that other games do it, and they do it well. It'd be nice not to have load screens. Seamless worlds are nice.
Not really complaining, but it absolutely makes for a more dynamic world. But, again, it'd have to be done correctly.
Bear in mind that XIV is a cross region MMO, latency has to be added to the equation. I like no loading too, but i think they did right by this.You'll get no argument from me there. They did what they could, but you can make each region seamless. That's the really the best way to make it work. You never know, maybe "PS3 limitations" are holding the game back already.
We are currently in the "maybe" and "could" zone since ARR is not nearly released yet. The best way for us all would be a non-loading world, but larger areas with lots of people and lots of mobs/npc's do generate stress on the server. Isolatiing the zones will make the server go smoother. Thats a fact.
