Where is this proof that inactives got in other than "other peoples" word? Do you have any? Would be so kind as to show me this proof?1: it's always a bad thing when paying customers are fed incorrect information. It's also quite problematic if the press picks it up.
2: Paying customers should always get first dibs over freeloaders. It's a very basic concept of customer satisfaction. Going against it sets a bad precedent.
3: It's statistically very safe to assume that those that are passionate about this game enough to keep paying a monthly fee will test it a lot more throughly than someone that abandoned it mid way. Testing a game that, as you said, includes all the problems endemic of an unfinished products is majorly a matter of passion and dedication, which are pretty necessary not to get frustrated after the first few bugs and ragequit. Those that didn't have an active account already demonstrated to be lacking in that department.
All SE has to do is to deny the allegation, isn't it? They did not, while they had plenty chances to.
