Not to feed the trolls, but Dragonheart's thread wasn't deleted, it glitched earlier (noticed it go "down" while browsing it) and is back now.

That's not something I'd call a "glitch", and the method described by Shogun isn't exactly what I'd call kosher in moderation, as making a thread disappear for several hours obviously makes people think it's been deleted. Normally you'd lock it, with a notice, and then unlock it again when it's cleaned.

The prolonged disappearance of a thread with 400 posts causes all sorts of unpleasant misunderstandings, while locking keeps things nice and clean.

Still, the concerns expressed in it (and here) should be answered, and that's the biggest issue.
