When a GM needs to lotus blade a thread they first flash bind it. In other words the thread gets disabled while they whoop its ass and then the thread comes back changed.



That's not something I'd call a "glitch", and the method described by Shogun isn't exactly what I'd call kosher in moderation, as making a thread disappear for several hours obviously makes people think it's been deleted. Normally you'd lock it, with a notice, and then unlock it again when it's cleaned.
The prolonged disappearance of a thread with 400 posts causes all sorts of unpleasant misunderstandings, while locking keeps things nice and clean.
Still, the concerns expressed in it (and here) should be answered, and that's the biggest issue.
