Let's just assume the tent is made of the same material as our equipment. It can be 0% durability and still look perfect. There, it makes sense.

On the contrary, I contribute to the discussions on the forums about the things I don't like. I don't get upset when the things I don't like stay in the game if more people like those things than dislike them. I didn't like the idea of "!" appearing above quest-givers, I voiced my opinion, but more forum-users thought it would make a good addition. That's one of the purposes of the forum, so please don't insinuate that if there's something I dislike I should suck it up and deal with it just because that's what you choose to do.

Yeah, but there's a difference between aesthetics and core game mechanics. I've stated several times how much I hate the emotes in this game, but I don't start up 10 threads a minute making my case known, because it's just my opinion. You disliking the (!) icon above the head of quest NPC's is your personal problem. I don't want to think of what this game would be like if Square-Enix took every single complaint from the forum and fixed it, especially ones as trivial as "I DISLIKE THIS ICON PLZ FIX!"

But everyone was aware that it was a minor fuck-up in the game and not by design. Same goes for the 'hovering' a few yalms past the edge of a step. Would have been better if it didn't happen, but was hardly one of the major faults of FFXI.

What if...the ability to jump on a tent is just a minor mistake in the Alpha, because Square-Enix just happened to not think about it? I mean, it is an Alpha test...there are bound to be glitches that people find, it's kind of the entire point of an Alpha/Beta test.

That haven't had their own threads made and discussed fully? I don't think so. Prove me wrong, start a thread about it.

I'm not an entitled brat about this game, so I don't need to start a thread about little things that bother me. This community has a problem with just making garbage threads for the sake of making them. We get it, you dislike the grass/tent/whatever, let's make 10 threads about it and get absolutely nothing accomplished! No thanks.

Yeah, perhaps dumb was the wrong word. Maybe I should have said 'unnecessary'. However, the things you mention still make sense in context of the characters. Except the reindeer suit. Those should be burned.

It's the best set of gear in the game. Haters gonna hate.
