CE ARR Step Up

I'm also curious if the stats for the onion helm will change in ARR and will we be able to dye it? I'm assuming that it will still be there...

Another question I get from reading this is - if we go the upgrade route does that mean it will be impossible to obtain the physical ARR CE contents?

I thank you, seems good for me as I am a proud CE owner, also it may not have any physical items, but if it does SE can always send them in the mail to the address on your SE account page.

At the time, when FFXIV came out I picked the regular version over the CE version because I thought the in-game pre-order item "Garlond Goggles" was cooler looking than the Onion Helm :P

I think they could do better on ARR CE in game items. Just a little

I agree. I mainly got the CE because I got to play a hair earlier but would have rather had the G Goggles than a helmet shaped like an onion :P

I thought the same lol - CE (1.0) was very bland for a CE of $90. Hope ARR comes out with a bigger bang.

Also would like 1.0 CE to get their adventure certificate as a house model or something a long the lines of what they already got (like a buffed onion helm). I dont think they should get new items because that seems unfair.. but I do think they could use a buff lol. Like the helm auto raises you on death (no weakness), cooldown 15 minutes, works till level 15 (or some lower cap area).
