Thanks everyone i be making my Char over at Besaid i'll be Elvaan this time around which is one of my reason to why i want to start over.
Besaid has a lot of roleplayers if i remember correctly.
Mysidia was one of the best servers at launch, and it still is. High population, an healthy mix between americans/europeans/japanese. You don't hear people bitching in shout in ul'dah on how the game sucks and similar bickering (which you do hear often in Besaid, mostly thanks to a certain undesirable), and I met a wide majority of simply nice people.
Anyway, good luck with the rebuilding whatever server you chose![]()

I have a few friends that play here and there but not enough to really make me pick there world. So right now just looking for a good high population with a lot of different type of linkshell to pick from.

I wouldn't say that Besaid is a bad server, quite the contrary, I know good people in it, and I can say it would have been my second choice due to my liking for roleplay and roleplayers in general. But honestly I see enough people standing around just to gratuitously bash the game and the developers in the forums without going out of my way to find them in the game as wellNow i have to rethink about it i don't want to level up to 50 then find out the world is not to be likeing. Of course, blacklist is always an option, but you still get to hear whoever gets baited by them, and the blacklist tends to get fat too soon.
The good thing about mysidia is that besides the first few days, i didn't really hear that kind of bickering anymore, while people are still quite social. If you ever chose it as a server, I'd advise looking for Redemption or Wings of Seraphim as possible linkshells of choice. They're both good and full of nice people, and accept low level players.
Even the Japanese population is friendly (quite a lot more than what I was used to in FFXI), and I can't really remember any time in which I was refused an invite to group.

Ya i'm not much into Role playing so i'm really thinking hard which one should i pick. I have a few question for you are there a lot of players doing guildleves ? and are the other two city have players walking around or there no one in them like the other few worlds i check out.I wouldn't say that Besaid is a bad server, quite the contrary, I know good people in it, and I can say it would have been my second choice due to my liking for roleplay and roleplayers in general. yes to the first question, i never had trouble making or finding leve linking parties (or behest parties at that, or even plain grinding). My girlfriend is in the low levels at the moment (she just started the game), and she's having a good time too.Ya i'm not much into Role playing so i'm really thinking hard which one should i pick. Gridania and Limsa are not nearly populated as much as Ul'dah is, but they're no desert. I would say they have more or less half as many people around as Ul'dah.
Understood most players on here said Besaid but i'm not in to role playing tho i know i don't have to join it. I did make a char there and saw very small amount of players. You are the only one who give me more information then i needed to know "Mysidia" was the world my gf want to join when we start playing in CE version but ended up on other. I was thinking Besaid would become my new home but it seem Mysidia is more to my likingyes to the first question, i never had trouble making or finding leve linking parties (or behest parties at that, or even plain grinding).
