When Yoshi was talking about Hildibrand in the live letter, the translation read "I wonder if he made a cameo in the final cs."

Was he talking the end of an era? If so where is this cameo? cause I'm missing it. I kind of took that statement like a hint to look for him

Hm. Perhaps? I took it as just an off the cuff, whimsical comment by Yoshi P based on how popular and silly Hildebrand is.

The translation said "cameo" but Yoshi P actually said "fell" -- as in 'fell back to Eorzea', considering what happened the last time we saw him.

For the record ppl keep saying Darnus is an Elezen when he clearly does the same "i hug myself" emote Hildebrand does

This is how I'd interpret what Yoshi P said.
"I wonder if he came falling back down somewhere during that movie."

I don't really think Yoshi P was suggesting that Hildibrand made a cameo.
Rather, just saying that Hildibrand would be back, so maybe he fell back to Eorzea when Dalamud blew up? ^^;

God, the movie would've been 10x more awesome if he made an appearance.

But I bet you anything that whether the devs wanted to or not, Hildibrand's finale was crafted way way after the End of an Era trailer was being finalized. A 5 minute CGI movie of that quality takes a long time to make, and if you recall, we were already seeing parts of it before Hildibrand's final patch.

I was wondering where he was during the CGI. Then after i figured he would be in the safest place on the battle field. Bahamut's back! Which would explain why Bahamut's sealing went amiss.

It goes to show you that not even the 12 can contain such a magnificent physique and charming smile such as Hildibrand's.
