This is better for the game, people do not continue to pay for MMORPG monthly fees when they can't get anything done

You always have the option for not using it. For simply using shout within your own realm to form groups or find a Linkshell that suits you.
Adding another tier to the options available to players dosen't suddenly erase the others from existence.
Furthermore, this actually might help you find like-minded players on your own server as those who share your viewpoint will likely be doing the same, while those who think you're paranoid will be quite happy using the content finder or their own groups without you.

Tanks rolling DPS and Healer items in WoW dungeon finder is mainly because tanks get instant queues and if they need to gear up their off specs for raiding. If a tank is vote kicked from the group doesn't matter they get another instant queue and are back to killing bosses. For example most tanks would need a dps off set for bosses where you only want 1 tank. Some people in WoW believe you should only roll for items that your current role in the dungeon is, while there is a lot of other people who believe they should roll whatever they want. Difference of opinion, the person who wants to spend the least amount of time gearing up for tank dps and healer tends to roll everything and this is what causes the most arguments. But it is within the game rules to roll on anything you want.
I am sure in FFXIV you will get people in content finder who will roll everything that drops because they have all the jobs leveled, unless its personal loot where you check a chest or the boss and randomly get something like on primals in 1.0.

@ OP, The cross realm dungeon finder was one of the best features ever introduced in WoW and is still one of the best features I see in many MMOs actually using a feature like this.

This should be something you should look foward to imo.
Daily quests and dun que helps the casual player alot.
Nothing will stop you from forming your own group, or queing with friends, find a filler if your lacking with a que.
Rift had the best que system ive seen thus far, but there was alot of content designed for end gamers that you dont que for.
There is also a timer if you get someone who thinks its cool to leave there is an hour cd on que unless it completely falls apart for somereason, also quickly replaced because it is cross server.
So there is less down time if things come up, Honestly for any real MMO gamer how much time do you spend waiting on something or someone.
This i assume will apply to pvp aswell. more people worlds = less que time

This is actually a really good idea. They could go a step farther and make people who you've rated low not even show up on your search and automatically add these people to your blacklist.
It would save a lot of time and headaches.

reality is, this system is like always joining a pug group over and over again. for events and dungeons that are hard it is still pointless cause you will just keep losing. i spend a month doing raven mission without a win cause it was always different people and the time it takes to teach /reteach they leave. and in this it might be even worse less there is way to repeat it with same people over and over together but still ...best way is always get 8people and do it till every single person gets theres /end.
the part i think is bad about it is i'm worried content will become easy rather then more and more challenging as time goes bye ..because of this ...people keep losing with pugs and all of sudden ...it's too hard!!! no it's not too hard it takes practice and a good group, one person can usually screw up the whole run.
so in the end ...if it stays at moving forward and giving us more challenging content with each patch and expansions. then this is an ok addition. if they go the other way then ...well so long to tons of players.

I have to disagree with you on this. While there are certain things that aren't good about content/cross server content finder (in terms of community), the pros far outweigh the cons (from a players perspective and people having different play times due to real life). This is nothing new, and it has become the standard in MMO's. People expect it in MMO's as much as they expect the Auction house, so it's pretty clear that this has to be implemented. The beauty about it is that you are not forced to use it, If you don't want to use it and have the time to get into a static group then this feature won't have any negative effect on you....seems the horrible systems Blizzard call Cross Realm Dungeons and Cross Realm Zones, which a large number of people playing WOW detest with a passion, is coming to FFXIV:
This is a recipe for disaster, the long experience of the cross-realm Looking For Dungeon has amply shown it breeds excessive greed and ass-hattery, because players can be jerks and then return to their own realm with no repercussions with regard to their community reputations.
Cross Realm Zones has destroyed large parts of the gathering game, now the over-competition for resource nodes makes leveling gathering a nightmare.
Please Yoshi, I beg of you, DON'T inflict this community-killer on us.

i like it =O , ive had quite a few days ingame where most my LS friends are offline and im just standing there or running around looking for a group or something to do, so that feature is going to help with that.
im sorry but anyone complaining about this feature is just dragging allot of players down, i think around 75-80% of the server wont be using it because they want to group with people with in the server, but its going to help those 20% (or w/e the % is) who for w/e reason cant find regular groups to enjoy the game, besides shouting in town about how much the game "sucks" just cause they cant do events.
lets not read too much into the bad stuff, and focus on the positives
v(^.^)v
/ (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻ Щ(ºДºщ);

mmo's in the future should try and do the 1 server for everyone type of thing either way. add different servers for each area like in tera where everyone is on same server shouting and stuff but they are all scattered in different servers of the area and you can freely jump from each on as you please and meet with others on any of them. it also removes the need for server merges and other things in the end.
