Simultaneous Logging PS3 and PC

Anyways, I was wondering if there has been any information released about using the same account, at the same time (using different characters) on the PS3 and PC.

Was it possible with FFXI? Maybe it could be done on 2.0.

Nope.

As far as I know, you can't be logged on with multiple characters from the same account at the same time. You'll need multiple accounts.

IE: Bob and Joe are your 2 characters. They are on the same account. You can't be playing both Bob and Joe at the same time. It was the same with FFXI.

The closest I've ever seen to this is LOTRO. But even in that, you can only do it if you log in to different servers.

I wish you could so I could have my main follow my alts around and protect them, lol. But sadly, I highly doubt that will be possible because then there would be account sharing.

Maybe we should petition them to allow it under the restriction that its IP bound and you can't log into the same account twice in two different houses. That would allow multiboxing without allowing damaging account sharing (sure some sibs or couples might share but i doubt that'll amount to any real losses).

without paying twice no you can't. but you could register your brother on your Square Enix Account and both log in simultaneously. some people do this to make billing easier.

Anti-RMT measures hardly ever work, and just make it inconvenient for ordinary players. If they wanna stop RMT, they should prevent China from having accounts, since they're the most prevalent RMT-ers.
