Why do you keep playing?

I don't really play much anymore because I am a hardcore team player. If I have to solo in any MMO I log off quickly.

However the reason I stick around is to monitor and wait for the golden updates that brings the FFXIV community together and the era of partying begins. On this day Keith Dragoon shall once again descend unto the world of Eorzea and play. >.>;

I play because I enjoy it. Yeah, yeah, I know, I must be crazy.

But seriously, I do find it fun. Mind you, I don't play 8 hours a day... during weekdays maybe 2-3 hours and weekends more like 6-8. And I want to be prepared for the new content without having to go back and level things.

I think is funny 90% of the people who are playing "because they are having fun" are not 50 yet.
Not as an insult btw , just saying is good to have fun while the game last, i definitely did.

i play since beta and i am not 50 yet. i enjoy game, so i dont grind, and race to 50 which i consider stupidity. gameplay should be enjoyed at all levels, and XIV allows you to do just that. Simply enjoy the game

I play because, well, oh wait i play maybe 10 hrs a week if that. Its just so boring and i'm tired of grinding just to grind. Ya ya i know their working on content and i can't wait for it to arrive.

How is teaming up with your linkshell to do leves for super mega sp is not "enjoying " the game exactly ?.
You dont need to grind to be 50 ,all you need to do is do your leves with friends.(wich is grind in itself but much more enjoyable)
I think people have the wrong idea when it comes to how fast/slow you level . lol

maybe becouse ti failed to find the super mega SP in certain amoounts. i do lfew leves a day, and go walking arouond looking for fun things ( like finding a pirate base in a cave around camp bald knoll ), and yes, i do WALK around.i only use run/port when i am hurrying to meet someone i know has limited time, and wanyts to play together.

Because Even with its flaws i manage to enjoy my self while playing. I am also part of a great Ls that keeps things interesting and entertaining. And it also looks like there is definite hope on the horizon of this game having its true potential unlocked. these are the things that keep me logging in.

Heya!

I have 3 reasons on why I keep playing:

1. There is no other game that keeps me up to 6 hours a day logged in;
2. "FLAW HERE FLAW THERE WTF" is not my policy. If there is a flaw I recognize it, and keep going with the awesome stuff the game gives us, and will give us.
3. Most important: The Linkshell. I have an awesome Linkshell formed by awesome people whose always keep up the fun while playing, with a group spirit that links us together.
