I'm frustrated by player misconduct...

I feel like a lot of people ITT are just not considering the feelings of the OP. Imagine if you were in such a situation, imagine a drop you really wanted badly had gone to someone else. Some of you may just shrug and go on, but a good many of you would take the steps the OP took.

Also, if the players left you'd be upset to an extent. Let's not flame someone for something you yourself might do. I honestly might feel frustrated. Although, I wouldn't exactly call the concept in question "player misconduct".

we are considering how he is feeling, and we are giving him solutions for the next time so that he can set his ground rules ahead of time so it doesnt happen again

whats passed is done with, he made a mistake(yes, he made it) by having people in his group he couldnt trust, and who he didnt set any rules for
in the future he will know to set these ground rules ahead of time in hopes people follow them(people who join and agree to rules and still do it, will then be on them, even though you cant do anything about it still)


But if this is a poor me post, well no sympathy here, sorry but people have to be realistic to a point.

Anyone who has ever played an MMO knows that sometimes the guy who just joined the party gets the best drop. Sometimes you get it, it's chance and no ones fault. Whether or not you want to barter for it is up to you , but imo its a bit tasteless to go on a 30 min rant about how you deserve that drop. Make an offer, but please don't make a scene.
