I feel like a lot of people ITT are just not considering the feelings of the OP. Imagine if you were in such a situation, imagine a drop you really wanted badly had gone to someone else. Some of you may just shrug and go on, but a good many of you would take the steps the OP took.

Also, if the players left you'd be upset to an extent. Let's not flame someone for something you yourself might do. I honestly might feel frustrated. Although, I wouldn't exactly call the concept in question "player misconduct".
